Does a 1983 Camaro have a shoulder strap for the seatbelt?
I recently bought a 1983 Camaro with T-tops and all there is a lap belt. I have had three Camaros before but none with T- tops and I never been in a Camaro of that year with T-Tops. I looked around the car to see if it was just missing but it doesn’t look like it.
1965 was the first year for seat belts had to be in the car buy law, 1969 was the first year for shoulder belts had to be in the car and again by law.
so yes 1983 camaros do or should have them.
it should be on the b-post just behind where the door closes about half way up the window.
