Will polaroid 600, 779 and Spectra film ever be made again?
I have heard that Polaroid might let other companies make instant film for its cameras since the quit making it. Are there any companies that have shown any interest in manufacturing it? If so, when would they begin to manufacture it?
Probably not.
Fujifilm has licensed the technology for 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 and 4×5 packfilms (peel-apart films), but no other company has shown interest in licensing the integral films.
I don’t think Fuji will license the 600, Spectra films, because they are actively promoting and selling their own line of instant films, the Instax.
