Why the 3 phase cooling motor heat after running some minutes.?
Dear Sir,
i have a injection machine capacity 450.in this machine has a colling motor which one conect with one pump.if the motor running upto 30 minutes it became hot and automatically trip off.I have check the filter and clean .I have consult with a motor winder he found that the rotor has some damage.now i have changed another new motor not same make .the capacity of the privious motor is 3.7 kw rpm 1430.voltage is 380 delta.the newone what i change it is 4 kw & rpm1440.if i am conecting this motor also same problem after some time it is over heat & auto maticaly trip off.Pls tell me what will be the cause of overheating.wheather it is electrical or hydrolic problem. pls guide me
wher are you that you get 380 v delta ? think motor is not big enough needs more hp is motor runing at rated rpm or slow check with tach on shaft 380 v 3 ph is mostly found in austraila etc and motor rated 440v may not get to rated rpm and is in stall continue use will burn out armature if you have 380 v then you need motor rated 380 v or transformer to boost to 440 480 v unless motor is reconnectable not all are
