Color Only

When your printer is out of black ink, how do you print using only color?

I know there is a way to print when the black is out using only color. I have an Epson C88 if that helps. The printer wont let me print anymore but I remember finding a setting to continue printing by mixing the colors
Someone posted about back up mode – i think thats what im referring to. I know the printer has the option, but I have no idea where to find it.

I save every web page…move it over to word. Change the colour there and then print. Been out of ink for about a year, but too expensive to buy more.
