Is the Canon EOS 400D camera compatible with Sigma AF 135-400mm f/4.5-5.6 APO Aspherical RF what are the drawb
If the Sigma lens has a Canon EF mount then it is compatible. The drawback of course is the lens quality. I don’t know the price of this lens but if it is significantly less, lets say half the price or less than the price of the equivalent Canon lens (Canon EF 135 to 400 mm) you’re probably getting your money’s worth which is a medium quality lens at a low price. If you want to maintain the same quality as the excellent quality Canon camera that you have, save your money and buy the Canon lens. The Canon lenses are the top quality items available for your camera. No aftermarket lenses will compare with real Canon lenses in either quality or price.
